1st Post Graduate Dog, Gina Stillwell ‘23-month-old Tri colour Male. His head was pleasing with a good under jaw, but I found his eyes a little round rather than almond shaped. Ears were well placed. He has a good length of neck and top line with good angulations. Tail of good length. However, I found he lacked substance and needs more body weight. On the move he was steady.’

1st Post Graduate Dog, Sue Beare ‘21month Tricolour who is slightly longer cast. He has a nice dark eye . Was rather short of coat today and out of condition. Seemed a little reluctant to move around the ring, and appeared to be plaiting in front. I hope he will muscle up as he matures.’

He pleased for outline with good length of neck, firm topline, good depth to chest and tail good for set and carriage. Balanced head with very good ears, expressive eyes and clean cheeks but a little more stop than preferred. He stands true in front on good feet and is nicely angulated in the rear. Moving pretty well all through. Good texture to coat.’

He still needs more body to complete the finished outline as he is a little fine throughout. Rear angulation is good, and his movement was precise, but just needs to finish maturing now to take him to the next level.’

CA Champ Show, 13 October
2nd Junior Dog, Jenny Miller ‘slightly older but still 14 months with a nicely balanced head of good wedge shape and having nice clean lines, well set on ears, eye colour spoils expression hopefully will darken with age. Good stop position and jaw strength. Slightly arched neck could be longer, well set shoulders and a firm level backline to correct rear angulation, well set on and carried tail. Would have liked more depth to his chest, and a stronger front angulation. Body well ribbed back but lacked in body depth and substance and for his age would like more weight. Well presented smooth flat coat, nicely boned legs and compact feet, moved out well with nice sound action.‘
SCCGB Champ Show, 13 October
1st Junior Dog, Janice Cook ‘16 month old Tricolour. Another boy well up in size. His markings making him look tall with long legs. He also needs to drop into his body and fill out. With a wide back skull and low set ears, he lacked the expression of #2, but won this class on his movement.’

1st Junior Dog, BJiB Claire Norman ‘Tri dog 14mths. Unfortunately, he was somewhat unsettled and it difficult to access. He has dark eyes, correct bite, he flairs slightly in his back skull. His body shape is good – would prefer less white on his side, he is at a raw state and needs time to develop and his chest to drop.’
NWPB Champ Show, 13 July
2nd Junior Dog, Jacky Cutler ‘Thirteen month old tri, balanced head, would prefer a darker eye, well placed and used ears, good bone, a tad upright in shoulder and going through that rangey teenage stage but covering the ground well.’

1st Puppy ‘6 month Tricolour male, still very raw, but he has a lot of promise, good head and eye, with level planes, still needs to develop in underjaw, fair length of neck leading to well angled shoulders, well sprung ribs, once settled he moved as you would expect at this age, still needs to develop in his rear action as a little loose at the moment, but this will come as he matures.’
