It was mostly about Open Shows and a mini-break for us this month, oh and some ridiculously hot weather!
Daisy and Ása both gained a Best of Breed and at Riddings show Daisy got the pastoral group 2 and Ása the pastoral puppy group two. Open shows are the ‘bread and butter’ of the show world and we really love attending them. It has been so nice to have so many open shows putting on classes for Smooth Collies this year, I hope this continues.
Deb, Elaine and myself had a road trip with three nights away for WECS and Royal Cheshire Shows. Staying in a beautiful cottage-castle near Worcester which Ása, River and Ripley enjoyed exploring immensely.
